Concrete in The Woodlands
The Woodlands is a forested, unincorporated community governed by The Woodlands Township, mostly in Montgomery County with its southern village in Harris County. Covenant rules are detailed: driveways must be concrete or masonry, driveway extensions need approval first, borders are capped at 18 inches, and patios can't extend into easements. Each village has a Residential Design Review Committee. Work in the street right-of-way also needs county approval, and tall pines and hardwoods mean roots near many slabs.
